Do spinning. One of the major advantages of indoor cycling (spinning) is that each participant can exactly control his/her level of intensity to suit ability or fitness level.
Besides burning (on average) between 300-500 kcal in 60 minutes, it does strengthen the muscles of the lower body.
Mind you, cycling outdoors gets you fresh air, sunshine, and the chance to interract with annoying motor vehicles.

El Rey de Cabrito on Av. Constitución 817 Ote., Centro (downtown) serves the world's best cabrito (baby goat) delicious. I know.
Also not far from Hilton Garden Inn Monterrey is Gran Pastor some claim is the Best Cabrito.
This joint is a tradition. Friendly atmosphere, excellent service and the Cabrito (roasted young goat over coals) is the best in town.
Went to other famous places in Monterrey, but this one is it for me.
The meat is juicy, tender and a great flavor.
They give you a plate of frijoles con veneno which are mashed beans with some condiments which are out of this world.
Everything was great. If anything they need to improve or make better, would be to have hand made tortillas.
I suggest this and they replied no manches
For something out of the ordinary do the Skypool bar:
Uno de los favoritos. Es un sofisticado y clásico lugar que debes conocer en Monterrey. Cerca de Hilton Garden Inn. Tiene una vista envidiable, gracias a la alberca que le da un toque muy cool. Es un respiro de la ciudad en las alturas. Pide un cóctel y relájate.
Imagines un alberca a centro del bar.

1The Cerro de la Silla is a mountain and natural monument located in the metropolitan area of Monterrey, went there once-upon-a-time, worth a visit if you have the time.
Named for its distinctive saddle-shaped profile when viewed, it is a well-known symbol of Monterrey, despite being located in the adjacent municipality of Guadalupe.
It covers an area of 60.5 square kilometres (23 mi²). The mountain has four peaks: Pico Antena, Pico Norte, Pico Sur and Pico la Virgen; Pico Norte (North Peak) is the highest (the higher you are the better the view) while Pico la Virgen is the lowest.
Set aside as a natural monument by the Mexican government in 1991, the mountain, or hill, as mountains are often referred to in Mexico, is a popular recreational area and is often climbed by hikers who take a 5.3 km (3.3 mi) trail to reach the top. The ascent is considered to be fairly difficult, taking approximately 3 hours to complete.
A panoramic view of the city of Monterrey can be seen from the top.
I went up part-way. Enough is enough I say.
